nativetexan
Nothing like being woke up by your 3 year old barfing in your bed....He came in to our room at 1:30 a.m. and said he didn't feel good and curled up with my wife. 30 minutes later, and after 1 shower, 1 change of clothes, one change of bed sheets, one change of wife, here I sit on "barf watch" at 3 a.m. Poor little dude. Took him to Wild West City yesterday and I think I just let him have too much junk. Now he is laying on the couch and watching cartoons..telling me he is hungry. I don't think so. I do think it is funny how my wife has never gotten used to when the kiddo's "get sick." Usually it is the opposite. The man starts getting sick himself, and mom just sits back and giggles and calls him a wimp. Not so in my house... I heard my wife heave a little in the bedroom... stevebeilgard
just a part of being a parent. since he's hungry fast, it sounds like he was full of candy & other junk and not really sick.
Tominator
Yep, had a few of those days myself. Why does it always happen in the middle of the night? That's my question. Why not when everyone is awake and we're better able to handle it? And another thing, why does a kid always go to you and say "I'm sick..."?????? We tell the kids "if you're sick, go to the bathroom first and call us from there." But no, they always puke right before they get to the toilet, or even an easy spot to clean. Puke is nasty of course, but doesn't bother me.
wtnhunt
Man that is never fun. Our oldest used to occasionally get sick with projectile vomiting, sure don't miss that. Middle of the night is when it always seemed to be the worst too. Hope your little one is feeling better.
Ohiobucks
Why does it always happen in the middle of the night? Or while your driving down a busy road.... Nothing gets me to the side of the road and out of the car faster.....
