G5 Broadheads?

Use Tekan II last year with great sucess. Complete pass through on big bodied 9-point. But lost one of the blades when I pulled my arrow out of the ground, but replacements are avilable. Trying new Tekan's this year because of bigger cutting diameter. Wife uses 85 grain Montec. I give them a thumbs up.

The Montecs are great heads. I would however, encourage you to learn how to resharpen them. I've taken some good animals with these.

The new G5 Strikers are incredibly sharp out of the box. Keep some bandaids handy if you plan on handling them (no joke). I haven't taken anything with the new Striker but it's an accurate head that's for sure.

I've used Montecs for the last couple years, and they're awesome. There's nothing you have to trust, as they're just one piece of solid steel. Like Leo said, though, they'll get a little pricey if you can't sharpen them yourselves. Great flight too! Get the practice heads, or the "Preseason" heads.

Good luck,

Ryan

Welcome to the forums, by the way!
