Wi-Hunter
I am thinking about going with the G5 Broadheads this year and I was j/w what you guys and girls think about them.. so if you can help that would be great...thanks www.g5outdoors.com
huntdux
Use Tekan II last year with great sucess. Complete pass through on big bodied 9-point. But lost one of the blades when I pulled my arrow out of the ground, but replacements are avilable. Trying new Tekan's this year because of bigger cutting diameter. Wife uses 85 grain Montec. I give them a thumbs up.

WVreddot870
G5 Have shot animals with every head they make with no complaints! Used the new striker mag this past spring on turkeys and arrowed 2 hogs last year with the tekan----blades and head stayed together after passing through the hogs shoulder. Leo
The Montecs are great heads. I would however, encourage you to learn how to resharpen them. I've taken some good animals with these. The new G5 Strikers are incredibly sharp out of the box. Keep some bandaids handy if you plan on handling them (no joke). I haven't taken anything with the new Striker but it's an accurate head that's for sure.
Born4it
I've used Montecs for the last couple years, and they're awesome. There's nothing you have to trust, as they're just one piece of solid steel. Like Leo said, though, they'll get a little pricey if you can't sharpen them yourselves. Great flight too! Get the practice heads, or the "Preseason" heads. Good luck, Ryan Welcome to the forums, by the way!
Squirrelhunter91
This year, I plan to shoot the Strikers off my DXT. The Montecs are good heads as well. But like Leo said about the Strikers, definitely keep some band aids handy. They really are that sharp.
mule659
I used strikers for the first time last year...had complete pass through on a big buck and two does ranging from 17 to 36 yards...scary sharp and great blood trails.
HOYTnMUZZYboy
My dad used the strykers last year and the pack one heck of a punch. Great exit holes that empty the pump factory out fast!
Dakota
Well, what kind of a bow are you shooting them out of? Compound or traditional? I shoot a 46# longbow and like the two-blade Magnus Stingers. Dakota
