turningcustomcalls
I ran across a bear team realtree extreme for sale the other day. I'm in the market for a good used bow. Anyone have any thoughts on this bow?
Dakota
Actually, I'm looking to get a Bear bow on consignment! We'll see how good it is. Dakota
BR44
I have a Bear Team Realtree Extreme, nice bow, shoots good, don't have any complaints. Just installed a Quality Archery Design Ultra-Rest HD bout 4 weeks ago, it has really improved my accuracy.
fly
I've been shooting one for about 5 years now. I've harvested about a dozen deer with it. It's been a great bow for me and I'll likely keep using it for another 5 (or until my wife surprises me with a new Hoyt or Mathews for Christmas). I'll have it another 5. turningcustomcalls
I took my new bow today to the pro shop and the guy said the draw length was only 27 inches. He measured me at 29 inches. He said he couldn't let the length out any more and I would have to buy a 29 inch cam. Anyone familiar with this and also, does anyone have a 29 inch cam they would be interested in selling?

turningcustomcalls
I went to a bow shop in charolette today and got the module to extend my draw lenght from 27 to 29 inches. It only cost $25 and i am shooting alot better.
ildrhntr
I have a TRX Team Realtree Extreme 32 by Fred Bear and it shoots great. I have taken several whitetail with it and all were passed completely through
turningcustomcalls
Thanks everyone for your input. Anyone ever have a problem with the string hitting your arm? It's put a huge bruise on my forearm.
Switchback29A1
lol maybe shoulda tried a 28.5 inch cam. But yeah, just focus on making sure your elbow is 'rolled' out just a little bit, you can also take you left foot and move it left..open up your stance a little bit. fly
Thanks everyone for your input. Anyone ever have a problem with the string hitting your arm? It's put a huge bruise on my forearm. I'm a lefty, but have had some bruises from my TRX. I use a guard when practice shooting and that takes care of the problem.
turningcustomcalls
I picked up a arm gaurd the other day and it took care of the problem. It also helped my shooting knowing I wouldn't get popped. I shot much tighter groups.
