ThethirdI
Wow season does start early down there! I was happy when I found out that I could start hunting on September 27th. I'll bet your season probably doesn't run until February 1st though. I'm glad that you were willing to share the fun with those of us that can't get out there yet. I'm with Finn on the coyote thing. I would be letting an arrow fly for sure. I had a good shot at one last year and my boot rubbed up agains the cable on my treestand and made a little squeak noise. Needless to say he was yesterday's news after that. Bummer! Good luck to you!!!
hammerforged
Our season runs through January 1st.
Leo
Our season runs through January 1st. Deer start dropping horns last week of December and month of January here as well. By the end of August almost 100% of the bucks in this area are out of Velvet. Hence the need for an early start. Good on you Hammerforged. I still haven't ventured out.
