Bachflock
I have been practicing shooting with both eyes open and am growing more and more comfortable with it. I noticed today that sometimes an arrow would kick out (side to side) off the string. 99% of the time those shots would end up off the mark. I bought these arrows from a well established long time proshop. The owner himself picked them out, cut, and tipped them for me and my bow. I'm am shooting 62 lbs and they are Carbon Express 6075's. Thoughts what I might be doing that is causing them to kick out every so often?
Ambuscher
It's not the same arrow doing it each time is it??
Bachflock
I don't believe so but will be paying more attention to that detail tonight, after work, and will update the question.
Bachflock
Didn't happen today... I shot a LOT of arrows today and there wasn't a single kick out today. I'm thinking it must be something I'm doing wrong. I looked at all the nocks and fletching and its all in good shape. When I shot today I paid very close attention to doing the same thing the same way every time and not kick outs. I suspect I was either hurrying the shots or not paying attention to how I was holding the draw, etc.
Guest splitg2
When u have the bow pulled back, act like you r about to shoot and look up at the string and see if it goes straight over the cams or if it curves. If it curves then you are pushing the grip of the bow to the left or the right. I had the same problem and was told this and it helped
