Dakota
Hey guys, I tried out a brand new Remington 1100 Sporting 20 at the field day at the Professional Outdoor Media Association annual conference in Sioux Falls a couple weeks ago and shot a 19 out of 25. Just got off the phone w/ Linda Powell from Remington and I'm going to be borrowing one on consignment to hunt with and test out to write a freelance review. Anyone ever shot a Sporting 20? Shaun_300
I've never shot a "Sporting 20", dad has an older 1100 in 20ga, I've shot that many times and love the gun! My friend also has one in 28ga. Sweet shooting guns for sure. Good deal with the consignment and test shoot you have Dakota! That's really cool!
Dakota
Well, I don't know how I'm going to be able to get it! They have to send it to a place with a Federal Firearms License number and Sportsman's has this stupid corporate deal where they won't do that! Hopefully I can figure something out. Dakota Go to a local gun shop. They will charge you 30-50 bucks to handle the transaction and "POOF", you have a new shotgun. If you are being paid to write about it, it should simply be a business expense.
