Rem308
keep shooting that gun....and shoot on a not so windy day and I bet those groups shrink some more Well today was a much better day for shooting, I had a great time at the range. I shot that Remington 700 SPS - Varmint 308 and it really has tightened up. Today I shot all Winchester 150 gr. Pointed Soft Points in both rifles. These are all at 100 yards. First I was shooting about 2" left. After the two touching shots, I adjusted over 2" to the right and hit the dead center. I shot again and put two more in the bullseye, which really feels good. I also brought my deer rifle for the last 11 years, a Remington 700 ADL chambered in .308, and shot it a little. My first pattern had me hitting a few inches to the left as well, and after this, I adjusted over to the right a little. I shot three more times, you can see that all were 2" high at 100 yards. I decided to leave it 2" high at 100.
hangunnr
Looks like you're going in the right direction. Run a box of Federal GMM with a 175gr SMK and I'd bet your group size will be cut in half. hangunnr
