hammerforged
Okay, callin all you techies out there! When I load my card from my digital camera in to the card reader it says "No Image" but when it is in the camera I can see all the images. So I figure the card reader is bad. So I tried hooking up the camera directly to the computer to download the pictures, again 'No Image". I took the card to Walmart to try and make a disc, again "No Image". I am pulling my hair out here!

wtnhunt
You may have a bad card or a card with errors. Have had similar issues with cf card from lexar. One option might be to try to recover the images with a recovery program.
hammerforged
Don't know anything about recovery programs, can you suggest one?
wtnhunt
Don't know anything about recovery programs, can you suggest one? Bought I think a 4 pack of 512 mb lexar memory sticks for my homebrew sony cams a while back. Those cards came with lexar's image rescue 2.0, the software works ok, but is probably not the best out there. Pretty sure there are some programs online(some free ones) that work too, but not sure which ones are the best. If you cannot find anything let me know, I might be able to come up with an extra card with this software and possibly send you one.
hammerforged
Thanks, I'll take a look around the web and see what I can come up with.
Leo
Some cameras have "On Board" memory. They can be set up to shoot the pictures straight to this "On Board" memory or straight to the card. It may be your pictures are in "on board" memory and never made it to the card. Yep, that is true too. If that is the case, you would have to connect the cam and download to your computer from the cam with the card out. I was going to suggest that as well. Your camera should connect directly to your computer via a USB cable. The cable should have came with your camera when you bought it.
