archerjg
I went to pull my bow out of the case to practice a little tonight and when I opened the case the string had blown apart. Nothing looks damaged and it was a brand new string less than 500 shots through it. I had it put on earlier this year and I waxed it and took care of it before I put it away last time. It broke right in the middle of the serving where the arrow nocks. I am just glad that it broke in the case and not while drawing. To the pro shop to get a new string and get ready for season. Anyone else had this happen? Archerjg

Texan_Til_I_Die
I'd double check to make sure that there isn't something rubbing the string while it's cased.

Born4it
Argh.. This brings back painful memories. I got out to my farm one day, which is 30 minutes from my house. I flew out there after school and was all pumped up to get up in the tree... Opened the case, and the string was basically shattered (or blown up, just like you said)!!! I was furious. I actually thought maybe someone had cut my string or something. I went straight to the shop and got it fixed...probably the most frustrating $50 I've spent. Take care, Ryan
