jbaker
both, i have permanent stands I leave year rond in prime locations. I have hanging stands that I put up after scouting and photo studies, and I keep a climber in the truck for time I notice a chang in patterns. once I hang a stand, I will not go in during the active part of the season to move it. GWSmith
Bowhunting and Muzzleloader I hunt exclusively from my climber. Mobility is the key factor incase I climb a tree thats just out of range for the deer travel pattern. An adjustment can be made easily enough to take care of that. I'll tailor where I place the ladderstands by the deer movement, during Bow and ML seasons, for the rifle season. I pretty much know where they are going to be though by the previous years patterns of where the Does end up during daylight hours...that's where the rifle season stands definitely go!
