Guest jduffy03
Hey I was wondering if anyone had a preference between the Slick Trick 1" (standards) and 1 1/8" (magnums) broadheads? To take it a step further....what about the new Grizz Tricks w/ 1 1/4" cutting diameter? I know the bigger the hole the better, but do any of these not fly as good as others or have the potential not to? Maybe penetration being an issue as well? Let me know what you guys shoot/know. Thanks!
RangerClay
I shot the 100 gr. magnums last season and they fly just like a field tips. They are a great broadhead. The Grizz Tricks are new this year. I plan to try them myself and I will know more once I have shot them a few times.
JDAWG
I use the 110 gr magnum, these things fly like field tips and penetrate well. I shot a doe last yr and broke the backside shoulder.
Guest titleist_03
I'm really wanting to try the GrizzTricks. They are a mean mean looking head but I've read that they don't fly quite as well as the original since they are slightly bigger. Could have just been a fluke review from one person. Personally, I'd rather try them myself and see rather than taking someone else's thoughts. The first batch of them has shipped according to the ST website. If you order them now, you can expect a 3 week delay in shipping.
Hoyt03
I use the 100gr standards and am very pleased
Mountaineer
I've used the 100gr. Standards the past 2 seasons and they have worked excellent. This year I picked up a pack of Magnums though and I expect them to work as good. The GrizzTricks look wicked, might have to try them out next year!
