There is nothing quite like 43 800 horsepower stock cars whizzing by every 15 seconds. You're about to find out why they call it Thunder Valley! Nick Posted August 25, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 25, 2008 Where'd ya sit ???? I sat in Earnhardt Terrace, section U row 4 seat 7. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Absolutely a breathe taking facility. Sitting in my seats I had a perfect view of the track with an awesome view of (what I consider) the mountains looking off over turn 4. The only ovther track I've ever been to was Michigan and Bristol put that to absolute shame. Actually all the states I drove through put Michigan to shame not even mentioning the tracks . The people there were great with friendly Southern hospitality. Everything was clean including the restrooms. I was happy with the results of the Nationwide race but not so much the Sprint cup race. But everything else made up for it. Every Nascar fan should experience Bristol in person just once before they die. I'll post a few pictures if I get a chance in the next couple days. I'm not a KB fan but don't hate him either. I've never been to Bristol but I can tell you Richmond is a pretty cool place to see a race too. One of my buddies I went to school with drove down to Bristol to see a race in the spring, he had a blast! I have a few friends in Indianapolis, so maybe I'll see the Brickyard one of these years.
