Guest blackeyed_susan
Re: A Realtree.com Proposition Buckee, I have to say your map is pretty nice. Dave and I were talking and we thought Indiana looked good. But we would be willing to do the drive to Kentucky too.
lil hunter
Re: A Realtree.com Proposition If its close enough, me and my dad will probably try to go. But we won't travel very far for it. So if you can put one around the point of Indiana, i'll be able to make it.
Tominator
Re: A Realtree.com Proposition boy, if you look at the map, the most central to the majority of those dots would seem to be kentucky or the point of Indiana. in that case, health permitting, and Ohiobucks driving--i'm in!! Guest Rhinodog
Re: A Realtree.com Proposition Monroe Resevoir in south central Indiana would be a pretty good spot. Bloomington (home of IU) is close by, so there are plenty of hotels and motels. Camping at the lake. Archery and gun ranges should be in the area. Indianapolis is about an hour north, so there is a major airport close by.
popgun
Re: A Realtree.com Proposition I e-mailed a few of the Kentucky Archery clubs, and organizations and told them of our plans. I invited them to read our forum thread, register, and post their suggestions, or proposals for hosting this event. We will see if any are interested. I thought I noticed one of our members had recently started working for an archery shop in Corbin, KY. Maybe they would be interested in hosting or setting up this gathering at Burnside Island on Lake Cumberland? We'll see what happens. .....popgun
Tony
Re: A Realtree.com Proposition [ QUOTE ] I live in north Iowa now but soon to be Ames (south central) so if spring break were to harbor a get-together I could make it to Indiana at the furthest. A venison cookoff would be a good time too. [/ QUOTE ] we could pool some of the iowa guys together and come as a group. it doesn matter to me where its at i will be there. Guest Storm25m
Re: A Realtree.com Proposition How about the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia, MO? Plenty of hotels around (military could stay at billeting on Whiteman AFB), 3D range just south of town, close to me, what else do you need?
