Brianxt
I planted my food plots 3 weeks ago we got 1/4 inc of rain the next day. we have had no rain now for 3 weeks and no rain in the forecast. Any ideas how long the seeds will be good before its a total loss.
Darron
I'm in the same boat as you. I planted my fall plot a week ago and have yet to get a drop of rain. The forecast called for rain, but they changed it. Now they are calling for rain tomorrow. I'm crossing my fingers. On the qdma forums, I have heard guys say their seed was in the ground for 2+ weeks before they got a good rain and the seed still germinated. I think we'll be ok. I don't thing 1-2 weeks is too big of a deal, as long as the turkeys don't scratch them up:cool:

starbux
They should still be fine. ...as long as they didn't sprout and then dry out.
Jorden
We have the same problem, but it hasnt seemed to harm my plots too much yet. We planted our fall plot Aug 1st and have had 1 day of rain since then and our plot is 3-4 inches tall so I wouldnt worry about yours just yet.
