VermontHunter
Sounds more like a shaft prep problem than a Bitz problem .. ;) The Clean the shafts real well, and try not to handle the preped area too much with you hands .. ;) I never had much luck with the fletchtite glue ... I like the AAE Fast Set Glue ..
m gardner
Yep. Fletchtite just doesn't do it anymore. I use Easton's fast set glue. Mark

RangerClay
I have read that fletching glue loses its strength over time. Most buy a new bottle every couple years.
Hoytguy
AAE fastset gel works best for me. Bonds to wraps like you would not believe.
hutchies
I'm lucky if a bottle of glue lasts a month. I've switched over to good ole wal mart loctite superglue and it works better than anything i have ever found.

ultratec1
I always use fletch tite glue. Just gotta clean the shaft and the base of the vane and give it time to set. Never had a problem.

I like the AAE Fast Set Glue .. Yep and yep. Glue or shaft prep issue not a jig issue. Have pretty well always used either aae fast set gel or goat tuff glue and not had issues with vanes coming off. Leo
If the fletchings are Blazers do not touch the gluing surface on those. There is a prep on them already and any messing with those before you glue will cause you misery. Carbon shafts will accept adhesives much better if you give them a little rub with scotchbrite. Wraps do hold fletchings much better. I really like Loctite Super Glue Gel for fletchings. It seems to hold up better than the specialty fletching glues and it sure is cheaper. Bowhuntersrave
A good gel super glue will work just fine.
Guest madabouthuntin
I have tried the fletch tite glue before when the stuff I normally use was to old and hard. I had just about an entire tube put in the trash because it didn't work! I learned my lesson FAST. I have switched to a new brand, but my mind wont let me remember the brand. So take the suggestions given above, prep the shaft of the arrow, i.e. scotch brite and clean the shaft before glue is applied to vane, and be sure to use a MUCH BETTER brand of glue. Don't forget if you use a whisker bisquit to put a drop of glue at the beginning of the vane once you have it attached to your arrow. This will help it last longer. Bob LeBlanc
Fletch-Tite (white tube) is not recommended for use on carbon shafts. Bohnig recommends you use Bond-Tite (red tube). I use brake cleaner to clean my shafts and the base of the vane...and be sure to keep my fingers off both after they are cleaned. I let the vanes set up in the jig for 15 - 20 minutes...and no problems. Bob
