unioncountyslayer
My Granddad has had a long and successful career. I really don't think about him as being famous, rather just "Granddad". A man who has always made time to take me fishing, play music together, and just spend quality time with each other. I'm proud to call him my Granddad. Here is a short video clip that a local tv station did on him and his career recently. He will be 88 this year.

ruttinbuc
That is pretty cool. You have every reason to be proud of that man. It is not easy to make it in the music business and it looks like your grandfather was most certainly a pioneer. I enjoyed the bit where he fought for his just due to the Feudin' Banjo's copyright. oldksnarc
That's awesome. I, too, grew up on that music. When I started playing 40 years ago that was one of the first songs I learned - or, I should say tried to play. No way did I ever get it like your grandpa did.
