ILSNIPER1
Hello all, First things first, I'm new to this MP3 player stuff & I know ZERO about how & where to get stuff for it!? So, Thanks for any help! I just picked up the Creative Zen MP3/Video player today, I got a small booklet w/the player that has places to download music & videos/movies etc. eMusic, 50 FREE downloads.. Napster to go, Free 30 Day Music Subscription, Get unlimited music with Napster To Go.. I filled out the Step 1) Name, Address.. DONE. Step 2) Credit card info.. WHAT?? Why do we need your credit card info: "We use this info to make sure you are a new member & BLA BLA BLA!!" I don't have a credit card, & I don't want/need one.. & I'm not going to use a friends or family members CC! So, here is my question: Where the **** do I find trustworthy sites to download some cool stuff for my new little toy?? I really like the little thing, it's the 2GB (was going to get the 4GB but 2 is all they had!) version, I do have a 1GB SanDisk Ultra II 1.0GB card I can use w/it.. it's got a great little 2.5" sharp, bright screen & sounds fairly decent w/the supplied ear buds. I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!! lol Thanks, Phil B.
Ambuscher
They need it so after the free 30 day subscription and you forget to unsubscribe they can start billing you.
hammerforged
I've got the ZEN as well. I really like it. The best way to load music on to it is by ripping CDs into MP3s and loading the tracks on to your ZEN. You can do this through the Media Player if you are running Windows on your computer. As for the download sites, if you have a debit card for your checking account, you can use that for the registration. Ambuscher is right in that they really want your card information so they can charge you when you forget to unsubscribe when your trial is up.
