coles
the foxes got into the last of my pawpaw's chickens so he declared war. i have shot 2 in the past week on their property. i shot one the middle of last week early one morning when i was goin to town for a job interview. he was sittin on top of the hay stack. and one last night that was running from the hay stack to the wind row. i know its not the right time of year for pelts but my .204 did a good job of completely eliminating any chances. their skin is just so dang thin that any lil bone that is hit results in a hole bout the size of a football. hoosierhunter
my buddy hit one with his truck while on his way to hunt with me. He had the taxidermist do a shoulder pedistal mount of him and it look real good. You might want to check it out
coles
this last one was sittin in the tall grass and all i could see was his head. i put the cross hairs right on his nose and hit right under his bottom jaw splitting the skin all the way down his throat and left a huge hole in his chest. so there was no saving that one
Shaun_300
Sounds like fun Cole, I wanna come help! Had the .22-250 out shooting yesterday, would have been nice to see a fox or wolf in the crosshairs instead of a bullseye.. :D
Dakota
Sounds like you've been taking care of the problem, Cole! Dakota
Jeramie
That would be a great animal to hunt! It wont be to much longer and they will have a full pelt. If you have that many running around you may be able to pick up some extra cash!
