stevebeilgard Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 those who were arrested. the illegals can get fake drivers licenses and good looking green cards and social security cards that are top notch. just print them up and you're in business. an employer (and i've done this) gets a copy of the work permit, drivers license and social security card and his job is complete. if i even try to verify if this information is illegal, i'm wrong and would be charged with profiling and i'd be illegal. that's the law, like it or not. I have absolutely no pitty for them ... the key word here is ILLEGAL .... they broke the law now they get to pay ... real simple no grey areas just cut and dried I hope they bust every single factory in the US like this ... We have had two major raids like this in Iowa and the bleeding heart liberals fealt so sorry for them cause we broke up families ... whatever ... didn't mention anything about the hundreds of identities that were stolen from hundreds of tax paying citizens you never know it could even be you. The company isn't dumb, they knew who they were hiring. The Illegals..well there it is, illegal, glad they were caught, hopefully it gives some real citizens a chance to make a living. davetucker Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 my family owns a construction buissness here in maine and last yr we almost got caught up in hiring an illegal family!!Here in maine mexicans are big this time of yr do to the blueberry harvest!!I guess last yr after the harvest was over one of the families had heard we were doing some hiring(and we pay fairly descent for this area)starting laborors out at 15 an hr!!The bridge job is still ongoing and they thought that maine would be an easy place to shelter(hide) and make some serious cash till next season!!Well they applied and had all the right (atleast it looked right)documentation they needed!!!So they were hired,the whole family all 8 of them!!Man did those people work hard!!But one payday jose came in for his paycheck got it and went to cash it,when he went to the bank and was asked for id he handed the teller an id with his picture but a different name!!She got suspicious and called the border patrol(we live in a town bordering canada) then called me at the office!!I waited for the ooficer to contact me and when he did i had all the paper work they provided that was required of an employer and he said that in his carear the illegals had some of the best looking fake id's he's ever seen!! Moral of the story is we can all be fooled!!Like said above if you look further into it you can be charged with profiling!!So your damned if you do damned if you don't!!One other thing,you gotta give them so credit cuz they work 3 times harder then any legal i've ever had rigging my crane!! Those illegals who have been caught should promptly be deported, any of their assets left here in this country obtained with money they earned illegally should they have any should be auctioned off and the proceeds go into federal funding for border control or immigration control.
