Hoytguy
Lets pretend you stepped into a bucket of money and had to choose between a new Dodge 3500 single rear wheel 4x4 with a Cummins 6.7L Diesel, or a Ford F350 single real wheel 4x4 with a 6.4L Diesel which one would it be ??? (then poof, it's in the driveway.) Both are short boxes with 4 doors. Help me decide !!! (all you chevy fans with your "Fear this Isuzu" sticker on your rear window reply at your own risk !!! )
Guest Andrea
Well first off, let me ask you how big this "bucket" is...........:D:D Diesel fuel is outrageous.......

wtnhunt
Of those two choices I would go with the dodge, but a chevy would be my first choice.

Hoytguy
OK then, i'll say it.....when it comes to the emblem....atleast they circled the problem !!! I always liked the Ford trucks. They still make a truck that looks like a truck.
BowtechTurkeyHunter
The Dodge has a better warranty on the power train ... wonder why. The Ford ... well its s Ford I don't like either one and would buy a Chevy Steve
RangerClay
I would go with the D-Max without a doubt. :D:D Yep! The gas milage will amaze you!
bluelund79
Dodge, I don't have the diesel, but I have had zero problems with my 05 since I bout it new over 3 years ago....The biggest thing is drive them and see which layout you like the best. I drove all 3 when I bought mine, and this was the one I liked the best. To each their own....Good luck in your decision. Eric
buckee
I'd go for a 6 cylinder Dodge or Chevy
stevebeilgard
I would go with the D-Max without a doubt. :D:D yep, me too. and all that power, comfort (and a 200,000 mile warranty:eek:) and i get 18 mpg.

stevebeilgard
o.k., we can't talk you into a duramax. go with the ford. they are better built overall, and last longer on the road.
Guest MN hunter
My first choice would be the duramax but in your situation I would go with the dodge. The cummins is way better than the "powerjoke"!
JKAPP01
reminds me of a post that i just made new fords are having major issues........i'm hearing NOTHING good about them. and my uncle just bought one too :S so, once his comes in i will hear it straight from the horses mouth........dodges....nice truck......crappy trannys....where im from a guy dropped his tranny in a 3500 mega cab diesel and his sons 1500 crew cab hemi......i believe all that is covered in the warranty, but im not sure....so after all the feedback on my post. i would actually say CHEVY! believe it or not. it's the ONLY diesel that NOBODY bashes on....go to forums or you tube and everyone bashes ford and dodge but nobody really bashing chevy.....so i am lookin for into it on the chevy side......my old man has owned ford all his life and ran into some problems until he recently bought a new one......doesnt put many miles on it beings he has a work truck....my grandpa same boat but with chevy and has not had ANY problems...im going to try something NEW and DIFFERENT
birdhunter39
i'd go with the dodge
