browtine2
Have any of you guys shot the Hornady sabots or the TC Shockwaves? I have always used the powerbelts cause of easy loading, I have arthritis. Now manufacturers are saying these sabots load easy. Do they or are they just blow'in smoke? huntermq32
I have tried the supperglide and they were pretty easy to load. I shot alitte better with regular shockwaves though. I was using 250gr bullet and 150gr of powdwer.
AJ
Some of them do load easier. But it has been my experience that the tighter the fit, the better the accuracy and velocity. I don't care for loose fitting bullets. The Hornady FPB is extremely easy to load if your gun has a QLA, but it shoots 10" groups in my gun. I have no use for them. Tominator
I've shot the Powerbelts, TC Shockwaves (yellow tip) and the Hornady XTP's. They all load about the same IMHO with the Powerbelts probably being the easiest, but not by much. The Shockwaves, hands down pattern the best out of my Encore. mathews4life
shot powerbelts for yrs and lost lots of deer and even the ones i did find w/ perfect shots never bled a lick. Same result from many guys i hunt with. Dont get me wrong they do load easy and shoot very well, but there is no comparison to the TC shockwaves. I highly recommend them, plus they are cheaper...I agree totally w/ tominator, hands down winner

They just don't put blood on the ground:confused: and I don't know why. I'm going to the Hornady 300gr sst.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I use the hornady SSTs out of my Encore. Like AJ, I like them to have a bit of a tighter fit. My dad picked up some of the ez glide SSTs for his ML, I'm going to try those and see how much easier it really is and if there is much, if any, difference in accuracy. Jeramie
I like the Hornady bullets too. Ive been shooting them for about two years. This will be my third season with them. They will lay a deer down flat! I havent had any problems grouping with them. However, I would expect modern rifle patterns at 100 yards.
