Well you know where I live and it's still too flippin hot to think about ANY kind of hunting.;) But I am about to start clearing up some old shooting lanes. Gonna wait and see how many trees get knocked down first by these hurricanes.

OMG, I have been getting ready for about the last month. Have seen 2 really nice bucks on the trail cams, one a real tall 8 pointer. Really need to beef up the practicing with my bow though. Have done some scouting and have some ideas for some hang on stands. With the trail cams, we kinda have an idea where they are traveling. I'd say, Yeah, I'm getting "pre-season" excitement.:D:D

Heck Yes!! :D

I just got one of my Ladder Stands hung yesterday, it's awesome! My dad wasn't too thrilled about the area I picked, but I told "I have this feeling that this is THE SPOT." So we'll see.

Still have to do a little work for the season, but so far it's looking good! Can't wait for Bow Season to arrive on the 27th!!

Good Luck in the woods all!

Oh yeah!! I've hung a chain-on at a lottery hunt site along with a feeder(legal in Ohio, actually suggested by the director) and located a tree for the climber ( gotta get a doe first before I can go after the big boy I've seen where my chain-on is.). I added a ladder stand over a feeder in a little patch of woods in Greene Co. It's quite open on one side so I put a dummy in it. It's working, too. That's where I'll probably be opening morning.
