JKAPP01
anyone have any home made recipes for scent blocking??? i've been using carbon blast the last couple years.....i wonder if a person could just go pick up some carbon from a local pet store and mix it with some distilled or purified water and use it? my stuff last year froze, so i know obviously the main ingredient is water......anyone have any ideas? ildrhntr
I think there might be a little more to it than that.

Guest ndwoods68
Baking soda dissolved in warm water works ok for me.i usually use it on my skin and not my carbon suit.In the tree on my face and hair once in a while, anything exposed and on my rubber boots.I also take cedar branches(if its in your hunting area) to the stand and tuck in bark at stand level, but not on carbon suit.Remember that suit will fill up with your odor and the odor around you. Also,to help with odor trail to stand ,if you walk by fresh cow poop, walk thru it in your boots.Sounnds funny but i believe it helps
JKAPP01
yah i usually thrown some coon pee on my boots, and i've not hard a deer that has crossed my path with it's nose to the ground spook....i usually try and have some scent wafers around too. i guess it's a small price to pay for the chance at a big boy......opportunity cost we shall call it.
