my dad and uncle who hunt together, went in on a polaris ranger together a couple years ago....now that thing is a MACHINE!! just got an enclosed cab on it and all....even has a name "rusty" put some slime in the tires so we don't get flat when we're antelope hunting....to be honest, if i was to get one, it'd pry be that....we use this thing, and it's hardworking and does it's job.....im a little hesitant of a suped up golf kart......i like the idea behind the product, but not the product...just looking into a silencer for the muffler...we always walk from the farm to our tree stands. up to 1 mile....use it to retrieve...and when we go antelope hunting to glass and such....use it shed hunting, putting stands up or down....scouting....firewood....clearing trees....it's a working machine...bad boy is pry good if you want to be quiet getting to and from the stand.....

I dont have any experience with the Stealth, but I do with the Bad Boy Buggy. In fact, I will be using one this season. You definately sacrafice speed and power when you switch to a golfcart type rig from a Ranger or a Rhino, but I think the fact that its silent outweighs the loss. I haven't had a chance to really test it out yet, but I will let you know of its capabilities, as well as its shortcomings.

thats probably true....but we don't drive ours to where we hunt whitetail....we leave it parked and use it for retrieval and other things.......and when we go antelope hunting and camp for days it's nice to have something gas opereated.....im sure they are great in their own way.....but it's not going to stop crunching leaves, breaking sticks, and even though it's electric it's still not totally silent....i've been with farmers who pull up hunting in their diesel trucks and deer don't spook they think it's a tractor or farm machinery......i wouldn't buy electric....

absolutely love the bad boy buggie quite and very powerful ... 170# of torque when you push the gas pedal ... it even pulled the Kubota out of the mud when its wheels started to spin ... we have driven up on several bedded down deer in the fields like 20 ft before they got up and ran ... you get a real good look at them when you are that close.

The Bad Boy doesn't have independent suspension so the ride is pretty rough on bumpy dirt roads. The 2 I've driven will beat you to death if you have to drive over anything rough...that is unless you slow down to a minimum speed. I was just looking at the Stealth before I responded. It appears to have idependent front suspension and a straight axle leaf suspension in the rear. It might be a little smoother but probably not much with the way the the rear suspension is designed.

I doubt it has the advertised torque (170#) that the Bad Boy has but Bad Boy derives that by adding the front drive motor and the rear drive motor together. I'm told by those in the know that by adding the 2 motors together is a flawed means for deriving the torgue. The torque on the Stealth will probably be similar to the new 4x4 Ruff&Tuff cart which is 120# from one motor. Both the Stealth and the Ruff&Tuff's front wheel drive drive engages via a drive shaft from the rear motor. Regardless of what the torque is, all 3 have plenty of power to do just about anything you want to do with them in a hunting situation. That includes pulling a deer out of a deep hole with a very long rope. I've done that using about 140' out of 200' of rope. A good friend of mine has also launched his ski boat with his cart on the ramp by his camp. I'm too old to be that brave. ;)

Both the Stealth and the Ruff&Tuff carts also have a front locking differential. That really gives you 3 wheels pulling rather than just 2 (1 front & 1 rear). Unless Bad Boy has changed there carts this year it does not have a locking differential. 2 of my hunting partners have 2 year old Bad Boys so I know about them and I've driven theirs.

The Stealth advertises "up to 20 mile range". That probably means on flat ground since that is how batteries in other carts base their range. I don't recall exactly what the Bad Boy is but I think it's about 35 miles. The Ruff & Tuff is rated at 50 miles per charge. Hills, wet roads, wet fields, etc. will reduce the advertised driving range on all of them. Essentially the more strain there is on the motor the more juice you have to use. In those conditions you'll have your foot to the floor and could be going less than half the max speed, especially on muddy roads or field edges. In my opinion 20 miles (flat ground rating) isn't enough, especially if you're a turkey hunter.

I don't know what the top speed of the Stealth is. The Bad Boy is in the 15 mph to 16 mph range. The Ruff & Tuff 4x4 is 20 mph according to my speedometer. I pass up my Bad Boy driving hunting partners in my Ruff & Tuff with ease.

I got the Stealth information here:

I upgraded to the Ruff & Tuff Hunter 4x4 this year from my 2006 model. It is hands down the smoothest riding cart available. Why...it has independent suspension for both front and rear. The under carriage looks more like a 4 wheeler than a cart. Like I said before the torque is 120# out of a single motor.

BTW, the Ruff & Tuff's charger is internally mouted (under the seat). The Bad Boy uses an external charger. I'm not sure what the charger situation is for the Stealth.

If you want to check out the Ruff & Tuff you can check it out here.

Help yourself to googling up the Bad Boy.

We used the Stealth for a day this summer. It also has 2wd/4wd at the flip of a switch. We never used the 4wd and never spun a tire climbing across ditches and creeks. The entire frame and suspension has been redesigned by some some off-road company making a much better machine. We also drove the Bad Boy the same day and I was not really impressed. The Stealth is very, very quiet.
