Congrats Rhino!!! That's great!! I haven't hunted this weekend, too busy. Maybe once the weather cools down I'll get out there. I just hate sitting there and sweating and seeing nothing.

I haven't shot a deer all season. I only have until January 15th to do it with a bow. This has been my worst year ever.

I hear ya this year has been awful, I havent seen many deer at all and I havent been able to get out much since I've been home from school because its either been snowing, raining, or 20-30 mph winds everyday...hopefully it calms down a bit for this last week.

Hunting here right now is like hunting in summertime. It's so hot!! I have another case of poison oak and sitting there sweating and trying to be still is well....................aggravating to say the least. But I'm still trying. Got til the end of February. Maybe it will cool down some between now and then.........

Well season ended here yesturday and for the first time since my second year of hunting I end the season with no meat in the freezer. Cant say I didnt have my chances as I missed two early in the season. Didnt get out as much as I wanted with being away at school most of the season. Guess I'll just have to start looking foreward to next year.

I'm back and catching up right now. Basically with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas morning I've been in the woods since Dec. 21st. Gotta love it. :D

I saw a lot of deer during that period of time and passed a good 8 that was a little smaller than the one I got on the Dec. 14th. I have one buck left in my MS bag limit so I'm holding out for something I think is better than that big 8 I killed recently.

The best news was my best friend and closest hunting buddy killed the 10 point I hunted so hard for during bow season. He killed that buck on the afternoon of Jan. 2nd. I posted a trail camera picture of that same buck on page 3 of our team's thread here. I have over 300 trail camera pictures of him. I was more happy than I would have been if I'd killed that buck myself. He had gone through a few lean years so he was due a good one. Needless to say, we had a good time celebrating late into that evening.:D

We have till the end of January to stay after them here. I'll probably head back to the woods Thursday and hunt through Sunday morning.

Good luck to the rest of you that have some time left in the season.

Sorry to hear a few of you went deerless this year. There's always next year.

Well the season is over for me. I can think of two shots with the bow I should have taken but didn't and one with the muzzleloader. I also missed a doe with the rifle. She wasn't even that far.

I think it has been at least five years since I had a deer season I didn't get anything. I hunted at least three times as many days this season as I did that one though.

Good luck to everyone who still has time. Good luck for the upcoming seasons for everyone.
