Rainy Day Buck!

Boy it rained all day, and when the rain slowed down a bit, the fog rolled in! Right around 11:20 AM I seen two deer, the only deer all morning. They seemed to appear out of nowhere! Funny how they do that, LOL! Anyways, there was a doe leading the way, following her was a ten pointer, but only has 8 score-able points! Bummer! Once I get the rack back, Ill do a better measurement to see if the other points are one inch or better. After I check them other points out, Ill enter him in the other thread.

He lived his life as a ten, thats what he is in my book.

Oh believe me there are no spoils in what happened today! I was out in that rain all day! I was nice and dry thanks to my Cabela's Whitetail Extreme. I love being able to get a buck, after all. Thats why I hunt!

I can not do any better than this. I only have doe tags from here on out. Which I plan on using my bow for the rest of the year. Now I am really glad I didn't take that six pointer during archery! ;)

Its not the biggest buck but its a good a six point. but I'm not sure they will count all the points. This is the only picture i have and the points are not clear.

I will be going out this weekend with the bow even though I have a firearm permit. I'm looking forward to hunting a archery park with firearms on the surrounding properties, hopefully the additional hunting pressure will get the deer up and moving.
