Guest xxtnxx
Hi realtree staff; I am inquiring about a type of mesh which has been discontinued for quite some time. The Realtree All Purpose Brown mesh (with the red treetrunk). Below are two images of the mesh that I am talking about. There is this one with just brown leaves. (fall mesh) Then there is this one with both brown and green leaves. (spring mesh) I was wondering if this will ever be brought back or if you still have any of this mesh type around or know of where I can find some of it. Thanks for your time! stevebeilgard
actually, that's a corporate decision and the pro's simply won't know. but, i doubt it. the new ap patterns and apg are a big step up and are being very well recieved, so my guess (guess) is no. Tim Andrus
Possibly try and use your google search engine incase any outlets might have some lying around. Its a long shot but worth the try tim
BowtechTurkeyHunter
I know I can't even buy it from wholesalers cause it just simply isnt available ... only thing I can buy is Ap or APG ppl use it for homemade blinds. I agree the only place you will find it is if someone has a private stash. Steve
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Whats the deal with this stuff anywho? Seems like every month or two for the last year someone is in here looking for it. Am I the only one who thinks something is up? http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59635&highlight=mesh http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60819&highlight=mesh http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72069&highlight=mesh http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73945&highlight=mesh http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74406&highlight=mesh All threads by people looking for this stuff (including this one). And this is the only thing any of them have posted in the forums. I'm thinkin they are the same couple people (or one person) who makes these things and is trying to get people to ask where they are made or where they can get one or something. If I am wrong, I apologize, but I dunno, a couple of the threads have the same picture in them, but different names started the thread. Best as I can tell Lee, all those posts have been from different users with different ip addresses, I did check once before and none of the information matched up. With doing searches and not finding this pattern in mesh anywhere, not really sure what the deal is, seems one user mentioned they were using these for paintballing. May very well be a legitimate high demand item that there simply are not any of made anymore.

I'm pretty much wondering where I can find some or if anyone here knows. Yeah; the mesh pattern has been discontinued since the 90's much like the Advantage Classic mesh, which I am also looking for. It is a popular item in the paintball industry. Thanks for everyone's help.
BowtechTurkeyHunter
Actually I am betting this is a pattern that there isnt a trademark on anymore and if they get enough of the pattern they can market i on certain materials is what the deal is. Since it hasn't been available since the 90's I would imagine the trademark is up on it not for sure but would bet thats what they are looking at. if it was for paintball lol ANY and I mean ANy pattern would work lol not specific ... and I would almost guarantee that it is the same guy all he has to do is reset his DSL router or have a different ISP to get a different IP ... as far as them are spaced lol I would almost guarantee thats what its all about. persistent though I will give him that lol Steve

Do not get the idea behind it having to be this pattern. On the isp, I did search with the tools we have available to us, and the isp's come from totally different sources. Four totally different providers for 5 different users and 5 completely different ip addresses. If they are all the same user, which they could very well still be, I still do not get the point of why they are asking since they are not posting any links or appear to be posting any sort of spam, really makes no sense to me. As for the trademark, I haven't got the foggiest idea. I am only in search for the mesh. As for you're conspiracy theory about all of the posters being the same person, I can guarantee that you are wrong. The poster by the name of Archie is a professional paintball player who plays for X-Factor. The poster by the name of Peltco123 lives in Texas and plays d1/semipro paintball. The poster by the name of EmpireDude posted a picture of one and in the background you can see a paintball gun. He's just a kid looking for some mesh because it's rare. The poster by the name of Proathelte, his name is brett, I have no idea who he is. And the other kid (i didn't look for his name, but he posted a thread), isn't even looking for the same pattern as we are. wtnhunt said: I agree Steve, seems like any pattern would work to me too. You're right, all of us who have posted about these in this specific pattern are not the same person. I am from Atlanta Georgia, and I am just looking for this specific type of mesh. stevebeilgard
it appears doubtful that you'll find any of the old stuff. but, i'll bet the new realtree ap would fill the bill nicely. good luck.

GWSmith
XPB said: Couldnt find the style I like one there, Since it's been discontinued for awhile now it will be fairly hard to find anyone(fabric suppliers) who has not already clearanced it out for next to nothing. Question...Why is that particular pattern so popular with the group your with? None of the more current and easily availible patterns dont work for any of you????
