RackBlaster
I've been using the NAP Spitfire XP expandables. They leave a massive entry and exit wound and i don't have to worry about o-rings or rubber bands like most other expandables.
Tony
Me I have used Muzzy's for a very long time, and have always had great succsess. They say when you find something that works, don't change. Me I say Muzzy for life baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you got that right. too many guys change, when they shouldnt. if you have great success with a broadhead, then why change just to create hassle, frustration and worry. Muzzy 3 bladed 75s for me. deadly accurate. Tony
Guest Finn
of those choices, either the Slick Trick or Montec would be my choice...either will treat you well
m gardner
I use a broadhead with at least 3 blades (a 3 blade will cut a wound that can't close up) and is shaving sharp. I use NAP Shockwaves (mechanicals)and a 360 grain arrow for deer because I don't need deep penetration or to break big bones. The one I shot last week went completely through and a piece of lung hung out the hole. He went 70 yards. For elk I use a heavier arrow (420 grains) and a 125 grain G-5 Montech which is a very rugged head and will penetrate. It is sharpened at a 60 degree angle so I change the rear 2/3 of the blade to a 20 degree angle and hone it to razor sharpness. The front of the blade stays as it is to take the abuse of bone. 98chevy
Im going back to steal force. My brother talked me into muzzys the 3 blade m5's. I lost one nice buck and the 2 slick heads barly blead. My shots where good. Saying that my brother has used them for years. Loves them and has killed nice deer with them. I have no cofedence in them. Only thing I dont like about the steal force is there heavy and with a light carbon arrow I cant shoot over 35 yards. (Ive only shot over that maybe 3 times.) Guest jlh42581
I shoot American Broadhead - Sonic 100grains. You wanna talk about flying like field points, these babys require no adjustment at all. Thing that I like most is the blades are replaceable, they make massive blood trails and you get SIX per pack. Unlike rage...$40 for 3 heads Check this out - clicky clicky
Guest IndyBassin
Bought Rage 2 Blades, but am worried about them opening in flight and wondering if I should have bought the G5 Montecs instead....
SwampDawg
I am a firm believer in G5 Montecs, they havent failed me yet, The striker is also a mean broadhead
Illinois59
Shot placement is the key.
hatetomiss
rage broadheads give short blood trails to your prize
KirkV
I shoot the 2 blade Rage in a crossbow that is shooting 361 FPS! I do not have any opening in flight problems going That fast! The key is to make sure they are seated in the proper position before you shoot it. Both deer have been double lunged and I have watched them fall over. I agree shot placement is the key in harvesting any whitetail but the 2 blade rage puts a 2.5 inch hole plumb through the animal and it does not stand a chance! Kirk
