Jeramie
Its all over our local news. The E Coli outbreak from our little town is now the largest E Coli Outbreak is US history. As of today there are 206 confirmed cases. Its some rare strain from South America. How it found its way into a small Oklahoma Town is anyones guess. The buffet feeds roughly 1k a day so the numbers could still grow as test are confirmed. Experts are expecting the numbers to finally begin to taper off. I have an appointment today for my checkup and hopefully my release to allow me to go back to work. This sitting at home stuff is for the birds.... Guest Andrea
Glad you are okay. That was scary. Here's a question for ya............ Ever gonna eat at a restaurant again???
Jeramie
If it opens, yes. They are getting horrible, horrible press but honestly its one of the cleanest around. A local paper did a write up on violations of local restaurants. It was near the top. Also, the people are good, honesty, God fearing business owners. This is just one of those fluke deals. Its been in business for over 20 years with no reported food born illness before this. Also, Locust Grove is a small town. The area is now losing 80 jobs. Its very important to our community that this place reopens. Otherwise Locust Grove will be known for two things The Girl scout murders and the largest E Coli outbreak in US history. Guest Andrea
Maybe you should write the guy who did the local news article and tell him you were a victim and you plan on going back. Tell him to write about that!!!!

Alisha
When you are ready to go back to work, you're probably still sick........ mentally. Seriously though, glad you are doing okay!! I'm sure it was extremely scary going through that whole mess. They just had an article about it in our local paper yesterday... such a shame for that restaurant. Hope they get to the bottom of it soon.

Jeramie
There are still quite a few in the hospitals. When it first hit Doctors suspected a virus and prescribed antibiotics. That makes E Coli much worse. Those that are in the hospital are in pretty bad shape. I went back to work for the first time yesterday. I was wore out by noon but it was nice to be out of the house. Today is my Friday off so its nice to have the rest! Other than high blood pressure im pretty much back to normal..
