BearClaw
Opening day in Maryland is the 15th of September and there is going to be a full moon. I don't understand about moon phases and deer activity so the question is, will that be a good day to bowhunt?
Tominator
I never let the moon phase dictate when I hunt. If I can hunt, I hunt. Having said that I've noticed that deer will move a little later in the morning and a little earlier in the evenings when there's a full moon. Notice about the same with movement after full moons as well, seems to be lesser in the mornings.

I would think you're deer would still be on a late summer feeding pattern come 9/15 too.
