Finally got a job!!

It's not much, but it's work. I got hired at Publix, which for the Florida/Georgia members on here they will know what I am talking about. It's a grocery store, never worked in grocery before but the manager liked the fact that even with a degree, I was willing to do just about anything available. At least we'll have some more money coming in, things have been VERY tight these last few months. I didn't realize that finding a job once I moved back home was going to be so tough. Things have changed in 13 years here. The unemployment rate is 8% in the county with 12,000 people collecting unemployment (I never did though), and they announced last week that the Merillat plant was shutting down, so add another 400 people to the unemployment line. Oh well, at least I can start making some money again and help support the family and take some of the pressure off of Kari.

Actually Finn, I kinda grew to like it.:o I once had venison that was pulled like pulled pork, soaked in the vinegar base, and I couldn't stop eating it.

I will say this though, there is no BBQ place anywhere in the USA that can beat good ole' Sonny's BBQ down here. I forgot how much I liked it until I moved back.:D
