carbonhunter
I think your dad was reading this months Field&Stream, but i also think he messed up a bit. Its not (unless somthing has changed this month) coming from remington. Its the Stoger 2000 and made buy Vursan in turkey. Vursan is owned by Benelli/Berreta. The gun is a mirror image of the Benelli Montefeltro and Benelli is said to admit that the return for service rate is lower on these guns that there name brands. The guns fit and finish arnt as good as the benelli but starting at $420 ya cant go wrong. Remington on the other hand is coming out with a line of SxS's o/u's and single shots made by Baikal in Russia. The guns will be marketed under remingtons Spartan Gunworks and sound pretty good in reading, especialy if you can get a double-triggered O/U at a resonable price. carbonhunter
Re: New Remington autoloader? 7mm, If he read the Field&stream article than I can understand where he messed it up, I had to read it twice before i made the distinction, I would think it would be tough for Remington to copy Berreta/Benelli's patent. JMO though dont now for shure but it seems gun companies are very touchy about the Actions they design for guns.
Tominator
Re: New Remington autoloader? [ QUOTE ] Does anyone have one? If so how do you like it? [/ QUOTE ] I have a Montefeltro in 20 gauge, and its been my number 1 gun for about 7 years now. I'm completely happy with it.
