What does he score?

I'd hate to even guess from that picture. I assume it's a Texas deer too. All the head features I use for comparison are hidden except for the width between the burrs which can range from 2" to 2 1/2". They always look bigger in that type of photo too.

There are a number of hidden features on the deer's head I like to use to try to size them up. They are ear length, eye diameter, outside eye to eye width, and for side views eyes to nose and head length along with the ears to help size them up. Without them I don't think I could come close from that picture.

This deer scored a net of 136 2/8. It was almost symetrical from side to side with only 2/8 difference between sides.

Sorry for the poor quality of the photo. It was taken with a camera phone the morning after.

Next time I will get the ears shown and all of the other things that needed to be seen to make a good judgement.

I just wanted to send it in, because these photo's help me in becoming a better judge of deer and a better management hunter.

Thanks for everyone's input
