rad_112176 Posted September 9, 2008 Report Share Posted September 9, 2008 Hey guys, I am heading to the doctors tomorrow and a little worried what he is going to tell me about my shoulder. I injured it a little while back and thought that maybe i just bruised a bone or something simple. Well i was able to swing by the house this past weekend and pick up my bow to shoot a little more and I can't even begin to pull it back. I have till Oct. 1st for it to heal as long as the doctor does not give me any bad news. I have seen a few devices out there that hold the string pulled back, but don't know where to begin to look. Ican think of two options for you. go to a crossbow or I have seen a product I think it's called bow lock. it acts similar to a crossbow locking system for a compound bow. anyone else seen this? I used one a few years back when I separated my shoulder in a motocross accident the first time, I got it all healed up and re separated it on the PSE Carrera one week before bow season. I had a friend who had one and he let me use it. It was a season saver. I got a nice 8pt and a few does with it. Hopefully the dr. gives me some not so bad news and i won't need to cause what i read for my state is that your injury needs to be permanant to be able to get a crossbow permit.
