I also have a Henry .22lr lever gun...no real complaints! Its not a Winchester 9422....but its prob. cheaper and easier to find. Get the Henry, you won't be disappointed.

Just make sure to check that the gun is unloaded when you take it out of the box or off a shelf. Not to long ago, Henry released a report to wholesalers about some guns getting out with Ammo in them. Wholesalers checked...but sent messages out to dealers to check any inventory guns. Just goes to show...never can be too safe!

I have a henry lever action .22lr. The first thing I did was take the front sight hood off because that thing is always in the way. I then but a simmons 3x9 scope and it is a squirrel hunting machine and is accurate at very long distances. The last time I went to the range it was producing 1inch groups at 100 yards. Not bad for a .22. This is a great gun for a youngster as well as the seasoned hunter. Its light, compact, accurate, and inexpensive. What more can you ask for?:D
