Here's a thought, since his little girl was in the picture, Do ya'll think that his wife had tags and one of the tags was hers? Even so , like everyone else has said,"WE MAY NEVER KNOW THE REST OF THE STORY".

Even so, unless his wife shot the deer, it's illegal. As I said before, you CANNOT party tag in Illinois. It is illegal.

I say delete this thread...its pointless!

He's not willing to clear his good name...then so be it, but to keep this thread going with no response from him is a waste of time and server space!!

Oh come on Greg, this thread is getting as much action as any other thread in these forums. Besides it's also generating a whole lot of mystery and intrigue. We've now got a new guy to make fun of since Hicks left. I just wish he'd reply using very poor grammar and spelling.

First off I am the said "moderator" that contacted Roger letting him know hat I had locked his thread, here is the pm I sent him on 8-31-08

Roger,

I have locked your thread in the deer hunting room. It has the appearance of you doing something illegal, killing more than 2 bucks in one year here in IL. I had left the thread open for quite some time hoping that you would be willing to explain yourself but after seeing that you viewed the thread and gave no reply I see you don't intend to do that. I however am going to need an explanation, I'm leaving for a trip on Tuesday and will expect to hear back from you by the time I return (Sept 10).

Failure to respond could end up with cancellation of your membership here on RT.com

Thanks

Gary

Before I left on my trip I noted in the Mod room that he had read my pm...

I just got home from my trip last night and around 2 in the morning I jumped on here to check things out, I had a reply from Roger from 9-2-08

I didnt know it would be such a big deal to post pictures on here. The deer that were killed in the picture were taken by a group of buddies out of state that i guided on my land the guy in the picture killed the monster 205, and the other 2 were killed by two other hunters, one of which took all the pictures and the other guy was not in the pictures, he sent me the pictures to my email, thats where the title "my kills from last year came from." sorry for any confussion. ive been busy with school work and thats why i havent replied at all. sorry again.

To which I was going to reply to him once I woke up today (which was right about 1 pm). Before I do that I find this thread and say to myself "Why would a guy who knows that I'm not returning from my trip until Sept 10 (as I noted in my pm to him) decide to post a thread that appears to be stirring the pot before I even return from my trip and have a chance to review the situation?"

When a mod is trying to handle a situation with a member through pm's to try to get things taken care of the last thing that should ever happen is for the member to try to drag the situation into the open forum. After reviewing everything I've decided to remove his membership priviledges from RT.com if he has any questions or concerns about it he can feel free to contact Scott at Realtree and try to work things out with him. I am also locking this thread as it has now officially ran it's course.
