Adjam5
I seen it up close, as it happened. I don't ever want to feel that way again. God bless all that were lost that day and bless the families that were torn apart from that cowardly act. I get teary and angry just thinking about that day. God Bless America...Never forget. Shaun_300
Just seems like yesterday I was in Grade 10 English and we turned the TV on to see what was happening down there. Horrible day for sure. May all victims rest in peace!
FireStrut
I remember turning the tv on and could not believe that this was happening here in the USA. I was like pinch me I am dreaming. I put a tape in the vcr and I recorded six hours of footage, hard to belive that was seven years ago. Never forget the ones that were lost and never forget that day. Remember the 343, RIP my brothers.

Sambar Hunter
I remember mum waking me up about 2am (in Australia) and saying come and watch the tv, its interesting to see that the countries that use the metric system adopted the 911 term when here in Australia and other metric countries would normally say 119 for that date. RIP the Aussie soiders
Texan_Til_I_Die
A terrible and tragic day. 3000 innocent lives lost. And because of that day, we've lost another 5000 lives in Iraq and Afghanistan. BUT... 30 million Iraqis and 32 million Afghans now have a chance at freedom thanks to the sacrifices of the U.S. and her allies. And that's what the U.S. has done best for the past 100 years. Fought for the freedom of ourselves and others all over the world. God Bless

slugshooter
From Easter weekend in 2001. Hard to believe that only 5 months after I stood there, those towers would not be there anymore. I was driving for Schneider National at the time, and I will never forget being on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge over the Potomac River watching the smoke rise from the Pentagon, and then finding out that NYC, the city I was supposed to be delivering to that day, was under attack.
