Alisha
Okay, first of all, Tim is NOT in trouble, and I am NOT trying to be a butt kisser or suck up in the least. This is a serious thread!! For those of you that have met Tim or even simply conversed with him here on RT, do you think he would be a good candidate to be a host or co-host for a hunting show on TV? If so, why do you think he deserves a position on a show? or why not? Other thoughts and comments are welcome, but my question above is the main one. This was a topic that was discussed in the chat room last night, so I'm just curious to see what everyone else has to say on this topic. Personally, I wonder why he doesn't have his own show already. *cough* hint, hint, Bill Jordan *cough*
wtnhunt
We met Tim, and although we did not get very long to talk with him, he seems like a great guy. Have seen a few of Tim's hunts on a couple different shows, I think he could do a show without any problems.
BowtechTurkeyHunter
He could host a show I think ... real question is does Tim want to make that drastic of a change in his life at this point? Steve
Tim Andrus
Would love to do a show, but I have 5 more years to go to retire from NY state. I was asked by another company last year but my schedule wouldnt allow it. If I could co host someday Id love it . Ill hire my crew off the forum then. Oh thanks guys/gals for the nice coments
Team Realtree
That's a great question. I really don't have anything to do with those type decisions here, but if I were to guess, I think it could be answered in two words (on why he hasn't been asked)... ... too ugly! GWSmith
Do you think he would be a good candidate to be a host or co-host for a hunting show on TV? Yes If so, why do you think he deserves a position on a show? or why not? I dont believe that it is about what he deserves or does not deserve. I do believe however that Tim is more like the regular working hunter that most of us identify with. In that respect, from what I know, he does what he can for his family first. I believe that deep down we want "One of Us" to be successful in this business that we know is already filled with large tract landowners or company representatives force feeding thier product in each show. I also believe that if you asked Tim he would tell you that he would love to have more time hunting(just like the rest of us). Tim is the kind of person that would say that he would also like to have more time to spend with his family(just like the rest of us). Tim is a great representative for RealTree and having met him, talked with him, after a short time he naturally treats you like you've been a long-term friend of his family. In my opinion RealTree would stand to gain from elevating Tim's public presence in thier DVD productions. When Tim has his personal goals for the financial security of his family met..RealTree would benefit from sponsoring a show involving him and his abilities to help and treat people "Like a long-term Friend". Theres an obvious truth here...RealTree would benefit from having the brand loyalty that evolves from that.

Adjam5
I agree Tim can stand alone. He is very personable and his energy is as good as any big time hunting personality out there. Also, as a fellow New Yawker He gets my vote.

Who's this Tim guy everybody's bragging about? Wasn't Tim the one shooting fence post? I think he'll have to get a bit more "range time" before he host a show! J/K I think Tim would do a great job. billkay
Foul weather Tim would be a great host. I've hunted with him and spent time with him and have no doubt he'd be a great host. Tim Andrus
Randy , Not your everyday fence post, a booner per Tractor Supply scoring system lol!!!
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I've never met Tim (hopefully one day), but from everything I've read in here about him over the years, and from all his posts, I think he'd be perfect for his own show. truly a great man and down to earth, doesn't let the tag "prostaffer" go to his head. Just basically one of us, with a few perks of course There would only be one condition Tim, you'd have to do a short Q & A segment on the show, I think the camera showing you sitting at your Computer and reading questions from the forum prostaff room would be cool
