muggs
I'll try to find a link, but Tressel just came out and said it's unlikely Beanie will play this Saturday. With our defense and him, they had a shot...now... 28-10 USC.
VABuckSlayer
Poor Buckeyes... I'm sure they won't fall too far in the polls next week though!

muggs
Hey look at it this way, you finally have a legitimate excuse to use when Ohio State gets crushed again. If I were you, I'd be praying OSU walks away with the upset. The Big Ten could use the street cred bud, and we all know Michigan and Penn State aren't doing their part to help out. I still actually think the Buckeyes have a shot. Here's why I should be a coach. With Pryor they have enough talent to generate a running game. I'd use him a TON and run the option a lot. I'd also have a lot of packages that have Pryor and Boeckman on the field a lot. Get creative basically- but the operative word here is "creative." That's not really Tressel's M.O. He'll do the same old BS. Soft zone coverage on D to "prevent the big play" and he'll stick with his field position and field goal mentality. And they'll lose another big game. If he can use Pryor and Herron (forget Mo Wells already:o) and our D can get a few key stops and prevent a lot of big plays (not by playing soft zones though- bump n run PLEASE!!) I think they have enough to pull off the upset.

craig mack
I hate to hear that. I want to see their best teams on the field, that way there are no reason for excuses. Should be a good game to watch.

I think they have enough to pull off the upset. I don't think they have enough even with Wells. I think your QB is way overrated to be honest and I don't think Tressel is brave enough to use Pryor the way you suggest. Matter of fact, I'd be willing to bet if Wells plays and is healthy you won't see a sniff of Pryor. I hope I'm wrong though because I'd love to see a good game. BTW---I couldn't care less about the street cred of the Big Ten. I'm not a conference guy. And Penn State is going to be just fine this year. They'll bring a lot more cred then/than your boys at Michigan.

Boeckman sucks. He ain't my QB. But he's servicable and as long as he doesn't throw a lot of INTs with a healthy Wells they have more than enough. This is a veteran group. VABuckSlayer
My TV tells me that OSU almost got beat by Ohio. I think USC is a little stronger competition than/then that!!! :D:D USC whipped the dog crap out of the Cavs (not that they are any good this year) and that's what you do with weak teams!!! buckbuster11
Yes I am, DB Now you can step into the arena and make fun of any college team your little hillbilly heart desires. I really don't want to make fun of a team, I want to make fun of muggs. First of all muggsbow, my TV doesn't tell me what to think about Ohio State because I don't even have time to watch TV during the week. Second, I've already stated your QB sucks, you agreed, so what are we arguing about? You aren't beating the #1 team in the country in their house with a crap QB. Don't care how many NFL prospects are on the team. How many NFL prospects were on the teams that got slaughtered by LSU and Florida? There were lots of them and that didn't seem to help them in those games. BTW---I correctly picked the outcome in those games, you told me to stop watching TV....well muggsbow maybe you should start watching TV. You might learn something. muggs
It's funny how quickly people forget that OSU took down what could be considered one of the greatest college football teams ever in 2002 to win a Title. That Miami squad had won like 30 games in a row and OSU wasn't given a chance in that game- as it turns out, they won. They've ran into two, hot, battle-tested teams in back-to-back title games. It can happen to any team, well, not any team. I don't think PSU has been to a championship game since, 1950? It's been a while. You'll see, this game will be closer than you think, even without Beanie.
