Jeramie
Re: How often do you wipe? I keep a pretty close eyes on mine. I wipe them down everytime I shoot. If I havent shot in a while ill check them over to make sure they dont have any rusting. If everything is ok ill leave them alone but if they seem even a little dry ill wipe them down. AJ
Re: How often do you wipe? I wipe them down after using them in rain or snow, or very cold temps. Condensation is as bad as rain. I do a wipe down after hunting season. I use car wax on my polished guns and oil on matte finished guns. They are fine till I use them again. Sometimes that may be a year or so but the wax protects them just fine.
Ohiobucks
Re: How often do you wipe? They say great minds think alike, and Tominator, you and I were on the same wave length! Had to open it up to find out what we were wiping.... After each time out in the field, and while in the gun cabinet, maybe once every 2 months. Rem oil here as well. Glad we are talking about this and not that! [ 02-19-2003, 03:09 PM: Message edited by: ohiobucks ]
lil hunter
Re: How often do you wipe? anytime I shoot it or touch the metal. Usually we don't go over a month without shooting them so I don't have to wipe them much after doing nothing to them accept watching.lol. I tend to watch my guns a lot.
