Gas is sky rocketing! Get to the station...

I beat the price increase by filling up Thursday night on the way home from the airport. It was $3.26... Today the same station is $3.59...

There was some serious gouging going on in different areas. I personally think that those who gouge the public should do serious jail time!

According to what I heard on the radio, our governor here announced that any involved in gouging that took place or is taking place will be prosecuted. Of course this coming from the same liberal worthless governor who has made many promises he has not kept.

Yesterday I was on my way home from finishing up clearing our hunting club roads thanks to Gustav. A few more trees came down thanks to Ike but it was nothing like Gustav.

Anyway, I passed a station close to my house that had gas at $5.17 and there wasn't a sole there buying gas. I had filled my tank there Friday for $3.51. About 1/4 mile down the road was a Chevron station with gas at $3.68. No lines there but the pumps were all being used at the time. The station right across the street from the Chevron was the same price and it had about 4 customers pumping gas at the time. The price gouger was getting what he deserved...no business.
