sskybnd
my food plot is looking good, about 1/2 inch tall thought it would be just right for bow season, this is there 1st full week of cutting our lease, theres srcub trees all round looks like a war zone, and my food plot might as well be sitting in the walmart parking lot, called the whitetail inst, they said they know what i was talking about and just told me to forget about the plots i had put in being they were in the open now, and as soon as they get done cutting find what ever avalable cover they left me and plant no plow, chickory plus, any thing that will grow rather fast,as close to the cover as possable, stll hoping for the best. dogdoc
good luck-- a lot of times you'll find does feeding in wide open plots but not usually the bigger bucks. Hopefully you'll have time to get the no plow out--which I think you will where you are located. I just planted my last plot this week and expect plenty of growth before first freeze.
