i want to buy a new 3 pin sight. i want bright pins, a bubble level, and a round sight housing. the Cobra DR 3 pin sight i have now isn't working for me. my pins are all the way down towards the bottom and my last pin (40 yd. pin) is almost touching my bubble level. everything looks cluttered as i look thru my peep and line up my pins.

also, i don't shoot 3-D, i only hunt, so would it be worth the money to get a sight with micro adj. on it?

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Im shooting the trophy ridge flatliner. All the pins are vertical so it eliminates that clutter you speak of. Plus, once you get it in reasonably close you can make vertical adjustments without any tools. Another big selling point is metal pins and the whole circle is wrapped in fibre optic material. I will have this sight till the day it breaks or lazer beams become reality.

Looks like you would want the matrix if youre looking for a level. I personally think if you need a level you should work on form.

Heres the matrix CLICK HERE

Just think, by the time you get your range finder, range him, draw, make sure youre level... he'll be in the next county

Have you taken it to a bow shop? The pins should not have to be set that way. Could be your peep needs reset. I'd have it checked first. But, you still might want a new sight anyways!

Agreed...Something does'nt sound just right.

Aside from the fact that at a decent bow shop there may be other sights that have been traded in. You could walk out with a top dollar sight for less cash and have your bow setup properly.

Spending the money to have your bow worked on by a professional can save alot of headaches;)

Below is my Trophy Ridge sight...I did some adjustments to it so I could have the pins come down from the top. It began as a left handed sight.

How does that work, the sight is designed so that the fiber optics are on top to catch light from the sky. Seems like your killing its performance.

Indoors even with the glow-pins that stick into that sight it was not bright enough.

The fibers wrap around the housing of the sight meaning that some of the fibers were not exposed to the light as much as they could be so I had an idea...

I clipped the pins fibers, pulled them from around the housing, and have them grouped together running back along the top of the mounting bracket. The Pins are bright indoors and outside they are much brighter in lower light.

Micro-Adjustments are good if your going to change anything having to do with your arrows. You'd have an easier time getting sighted back in to Dead Center on target.

If your not changing anything in your "Setup" theres no need to adjust anything afterwards.

Once I had my sight fixed where I wanted it I marked it...and have not touched it since. I have not changed anything with my arrows either.

Darn thing still shots where I aim it:o:D
