muggs
If you had a choice to field your own team, which guy would you go with? After seeing yesterday's game I would have to pick Brady. He might not be as good as Peyton, but it's hard to go against a guy who is undefeated in the post-season.
AaronS
Re: Brady or Manning? I'd have to go with Manning. Give Manning the offensive line that Brady has and then see what his record would be.
RDNKHNTR77
Re: Brady or Manning? i would take brady just because he has more playoff experience and is huge in the clutch. he is also an experienced vet with great leadership. manning is awesome but he just does not have the experience yet. Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Re: Brady or Manning? i'd have to take Brady....manning seems to get rattled under pressure and doesn't shake things off and lets mistakes get to his head, brady is calm and cool and lets things go, oh and i am a michigan fan too so that makes my decision a little easier

Tominator
Re: Brady or Manning? Tough call. 2 different guys in 2 different schemes. I think I'd like to switch teams with them and then make my decision. I think Peyton could do more with the Pats than vice versa.
Strut_Buster
Re: Brady or Manning? Manning. If he had a Defese like the Pats or the Steelers. Or even the Ravens. The colts would be unstopable.

muggs
Re: Brady or Manning? Another point I don't think anyone else has said, is that Brady gets all the credit in the world for being a winner that's true. But, I feel he's has a boat load of talent, and does not get enough credit because he plays for the Pats and everyone feels that he is being carried by their defense, o-line etc..... Dont' forget he won those first two Super Bowls with no running game. He throws a great ball and has a quick release, and his decision making is flawless. But, on the other hand if you put him on the Browns he'd look like dog meat too. JMHO
lil hunter
Re: Brady or Manning? out of those two, Brady. Manning is over-rated in my opinion. Sure he got the record for most single-season td's, but Marino missed a few games the season he set that record, and he had well over 5000 yards, manning didn't have near that. Manning is good, but not that good. I don't like Brady, or really anyone on the pats, but Brady is pretty darn good. Give him the recievers that Manning has, and he'd be settin records too. VTbowman
Re: Brady or Manning? Manning is awesome but I think his lines men do not get the credit they deserve for letting Manning just sit in their all day long and pass. That how the Pats shut him down. They did not let him get comfortable. But even still he is a great QB. However I would still go with Brady. I mean heck HE never loses in the playoff. Especially at the Razor! [/ QUOTE ] Great point. Thing is imo at least that Brady always seems to try not to be in any way boasting on what he himself has accomplished. Brady always seems to give the credit to others and diverts the attention away from himself. In that sense it does seem like his talent and athletic ability is maybe a little overlooked. He no doubt has a lot of talent, and is a great athlete, but his cool composure and winning drive is well beyond that of Peyton Manning, or anyone else in the league at qb at the present time. That in my honest opinion gives him an edge most others simply do not have.
