I AM GOING TO BUY A T/C PRO HUNTER 50 CALIBER.I WANT TO USE IT FOR DEER ,ALL THE WAY UP TO MOOSE.WILL THIS DO THE JOB AND IF SO WHAT IS A GOOD POWDER AND BULLET TO USE. ALSO ABOUT WHAT IS THE YARDAGE I WOULD GET OUT OF IT.I PLAN ON STARTING WITH WHITETAIL,BLACK BEAR,HOG. WHAT IS A GOOD BULLET WEIGHT FOR THESE. Might want to take a look through here http://www.realtree.com/bluelk/ since you are new to ml'ing. I cannot answer about the loads for any critters other than whitetails, but what works for us may not perform well in your gun. There are several good muzzleloaders out there, really don't think you could go wrong with the TC. The wife and I use a TC black diamond. Have killed deer as far out as about 150 yards with it, I would probably take a shot out to 200 if all the conditions were just right.
