backwoods07
So, after gathering several pictures of decent bucks on the farm this year, it has been brought to my attention that we may have been capturing many different deer as opposed to many pictures of the same deer. This is where you all come in. Same deer? Age estimates?
backwoods07
Here are a few more pics. Again, are these two the same deer? Age estimates?
Bowtech_archer07
In the first set of pics, they are different deer for sure. The daylight picture, he's a 2.5 yr old deer. The one at night is probably a 3.5 yr old. For the second set of pics, they are also different deer in my opinion. The 1st one is a 2.5-3.5 yr old, hard to tell. The second one is a 3.5 yr old IMO
Dawg
The second two are hard to tell, but according to the dates on your camera it seems the second picture was taken after the first. If that's the case, the deer in the first picture is smaller than the one in the second pic. The one in the first also looks to be about 2.5 and the other is 2.5 or 3.5. As the first two pics are concerned, the deer look to be different, but also around the same age.
backwoods07
The dates on our cameras are never right. It takes too long to set them up, just to realize after a month they didn't work. Thanks for the opinions, keep em comin!!
wtnhunt
The pics are a bit deceieving from the angles, but I think these two could very well be the same deer. Look at the tine length and the matching g-4's in both pics. Think it is a 2.5 year old with some awesome potential. Two different bucks here. Brows point more inward on the first one and pretty well go straight up on the second one. Right side g-2 on the first deer appears to be the same length as the g-3 on that side, second deer the right g-2 is longer than the g-3 Second deer 3.5 year old. First one, not sure but would probably guess also a 3.5 year old.
