Shaun_300
Wow! Nice pics Dave! What size of lens are you using and how far away were the animals when you got the pics? I want to get a bigger lens so I can take pics like that, just want an idea for the size.

Chenango Dave
Thanks for the compliments everyone.. Shaun_300, this lens here is a Nikon 200-400 VR f/4 and both the pheasant and deer were only about 25 to 30 yards away when I took them. It's an expensive lens but it takes crazy sharp images, especially if your stopped down and have a good rest. I took this one just this past weekend. And heres some grouse from this past spring. I hope to get some great buck pics closer to the rut.

Chenango Dave
Thanks for all the compliments everyone. So far this is just a hobby of mine. I like to get out in the woods and fields and along the river and its nice to bring home images of my travels. I do have a line up on making a calander in the near future. I'm waiting for the leaves to turn to get some good fall shots. Take care Dave
