Ravin R10 man
what did you shoot them with? we use shotguns and decoys and a cassett caller, plus we use regular calls too
Adjam5
I love crow hunting! Congrats on the good kills! They are smart critters..no doubt. I use a Foxpro caller and dekes that surround a old wig. I also leave the dead crows in a place where I will be trapping come that season and send the feathers to Pueblo Tribe in Santa Fe,NM for their rituals. Check out www.crowbusters.com I think you'll like it;)

Adjam5
There was a article on our local paper about the return of Ravens to NY.http://www.recordonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20081005/NEWS/810050320 It said how they were a bit bigger than the crows we usually see. I pluck them and leave the rest for the coyotes. Maybe the one I shot last weekend was a Raven. It was much bigger than the other crows I've shot in the past. Look at that wing span! aksheephuntress
...great thread! -awesome crow hunting, Oneida Man! -Adjam5....-hi!... -I wish I could see the head a little more in this picture you posted....you can really tell the difference between the crow, and Raven, by their head and beak...-also.....up here, anyway, they appear a deeper black, almost shiny- reflecting a unique blue and faint silver....and they are a LOT bigger(at least up here) -still, this just might be a Raven.... -great picture!...
