-Steve and I thought we would take turns posting on this thread, giving you a glimpse from the blind, the first 5 days of the Wyoming Antelope hunt....

-I wont be able to be online very much the next few days....-but, I will start out , with some pictures and video clips, that might give a little indication of how truly awesome and bountiful that country is...and an idea of what we learned by watching them, in a quiet setting...and observing their changing dynamics..

-my first time ever in a blind.....and, it is amazing how they can literally sneak up on you....

-Here's one of about a dozen , that we passed up and simply chose to watch and video, those first few days....:D

-I am glad I didn't harvest then...-even though I had numerous chances...(little did I know that I wouldn't harvest at all....)...-but- well; I'm sure Buckee would agree...-all those days hunting, and seeing and experiencing all that we did...-was worth it-

......Our first day in the blind, September 4th...

***-a lot of the pictures I post probably aren't in actual order, or accurate by date...-including on Buckee's "Eyeball Buck" thread...-my memory of the days kind of all run together...-

-but, vividly, at least for us, we can categorize the hunt as "the first 5 days...-hunting from the blind"...and, "the last 2 days, of intense spot- and-stalk", with Steve B.....

Hey Kathleen and Buckee,

I had so much fun hanging out and telling stories with you guys. Kathleen ,I wish that I would have had you cut my hair! It really needs it now since I got back from Canada. I hope that all of us can get together again next year somewhere. I am planning on coming up for a moose hunt if I can.(with dad)!

Glad you are home and I understand busy. i have a lot of mail to catch up on and chores to do on the farm also.

Great pics. and videos.

Don, told me today that they were all there (the big ones) the 6th day... dang. the best plans gone ary..

Figures eh ...LOL. I knew they'd get closer once the sun came out. They were all hanging around close by, the whole time we were there, but on other property where they were safe. The little rascals :)

We sure did enjoy ourselves, in spite of the rain.

I think Kathleen was a bit tired at the end of this day

But we sure did see lots. If they weren't in front of us, they were behind or beside us, and if they weren't there, they were somewhere of in the distance.
