GWSmith
Interesting how the angle changes the perception of tine length or width! Same Deer...
danthehunter
I say 125-
Dakota
He's definitely got the length, just not the mass. Probably a 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 year old buck at P&Y minimum. Still a nice deer and one I would mount for sure! Dakota
fly
If he was bow shot I'd say you got a P&Y there. About 130 net score I'd say. Short tines, but 10 of em and nice spread.
toddyboman
low 120s
Randy
I'll guess right around 125. He looks to be just over 18" wide but, from the pics it's really hard to figure out how long his mainbeams are.
wtnhunt
Would guess somewhere around 124 inches.
GWSmith
The Buck was scored by an official scorer of the NY Big buck Club. Actual score: 146"gross 142-1/8" net 21-1/8" inside spread

GWSmith
Just going by the Pic's I would have geussed similar to what everyone else did. My friend took this deer locally a few years ago. Having seen it in person, I have to say that the Pic's dont show the massive body size, that makes the antlers look smaller than they are. I know the deer weighed over 300lbs when it was taken. I posted this thread to show how hard judging from pics can be;)

Actual score: 146"gross 142-1/8" net 21-1/8" inside spread Yes but doesn't the NY Big buck club score differently? There are less deductions if I remember. elkoholic
I would have guessed the inside spread at over 20" but the tines appear quite short and main beam length is not very impressive. I would have to ask just how long was the longest tine and main beam, as the longest tine appears to be less than 8" and then the mass surely is not all that impressive. Goes to show you that you really can't tell until you put the tape on it.

Those pics are pretty deceiving. I was guessing the spread about 20 inches, but did not think the deer had enough tine length to go that high. Still a nice buck though Gary. Born4it
I was thinking close to 125, maybe 130, but good for you! 146 is pretty darn good :-) Good luck, Ryan
